Terms of Use
Last updated: October 5, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to your use of DIY Wreath Ideas (vanguardatec.com, “the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What the site provides
The site publishes free tutorials and guides about making wreaths by hand, for general information and personal enjoyment. It is a hobby craft site and does not provide professional advice of any kind. We work to keep the instructions clear and accurate, but we do not guarantee that every tutorial is free of errors, that you will get a particular result by following it, or that a finished wreath will last for any length of time or withstand any particular conditions.
Craft safety
Wreath making involves heat, sharp tools and wire. You are responsible for working safely and for deciding whether a project, a material or a finished wreath is suitable for you, for the place you plan to hang it, or for a child in your care.
- Hot glue. Glue guns and melted glue can burn skin and mark surfaces. Follow the instructions supplied with your glue gun, rest it on its stand over a protected surface, keep fingers away from fresh glue, and unplug the gun when you finish.
- Wire ends. Cut floral wire, wire frames, stem wire and floral pins have sharp ends. Trim them close, bend or tuck the ends into the wreath so they cannot scratch skin, doors or walls, and consider eye protection when cutting wire.
- Cutting tools. Use scissors, wire cutters, pruners and craft knives with care, cut away from your body on a stable surface, and store blades closed or covered.
- Candles and heat. Dried flowers, moss, pinecones, paper, fabric, yarn, ribbon and evergreen cuttings can catch fire. Keep wreaths away from candles, fireplaces, stoves, heaters and hot light bulbs, and never leave a wreath near an open flame.
- Hanging hardware. Weigh your finished wreath and check it against the weight rating given by the maker of the hook, hanger, adhesive strip, nail or magnet you plan to use. Those ratings, and the instructions for the surface they suit, are the hardware maker’s; the site cannot confirm that a particular product will hold your wreath on your door or wall.
- Natural materials. Gather vines, branches, cones, moss and other plant material only where you have permission to do so, and follow local rules for parks and protected land. Some plants can irritate skin or are harmful if eaten; identify what you collect, wear gloves where appropriate, and keep natural wreaths out of reach of young children and pets.
- Product labels. Read and follow the label of every glue, paint, sealer and floral spray you use, including its ventilation and drying instructions.
- No suitability claims. Nothing on the site should be read as a statement that a material or finished wreath is weatherproof, flame-resistant, non-toxic, child-safe or pet-safe.
- Children. Children should be supervised by an adult, and steps involving hot glue, wire or blades should be done by an adult.
